Barton claimed that the reason I am now telling him he owes me money is because I am upset that I did the work too cheaply. He said that I should have told him before I did the work that he would owe me money, and that it is not professional to just tell him afterwards. Well I did tell him he would owe me more money before this work as the below e-mail prooves! At this point I was also very busy, so I especially had no interest in working for free.

I guess a month ago it was that you sent a LOT of changes to me.
A lot of changes I might ad which I did for 75.00. The changes
you sent me 7 days ago were a whole new set of changes as far as
my memory serves. I wish I could do unlimited changes for that
low of a price, however I can not or I would be out of business,
lol.
As for the new merchants site... the $75.00 is simply for the
time it takes me to upload the files, and to reconfigure the
forms to work on the web site (piece of cake.) There is a
physical time outlay for uploading the site. My rates are by no
doubt cheaper than all others, or atleast most others, that can
perform my level quality of work. I don't want to build a
reputation of overcharging, however I also do not want a
repuation of giving services away for free. I feel that I have
given you a great deal in total for the web designing I have done
for you. Most would have charged you double or triple the amount
I have charged you. I have a lot of people clawing at me to do
work for them, so my time right now especially is expensive,
although I try not to let that effect my pricing. I would be
willing to knock that second 75 dollar fee down to 50 just in
good will however. I used to give clients tons and tons of
freebies, to the point where doing their site was not profitable
for me... I simply don't do freebies anymore.
By the way, I found the problem with that 1000 dollar banner. The
graphic you keep sending me is labeled 1000b, however when you
open it, you will see it is the graphic for the 1700 dollar
banner. The real banner you should have been sending me was
neonanim.gif, but I have that now so don't worry about it:)
